Denise

Denise Worrell is deeply passionate about solving complex problems and shaping the future, bringing a unique blend of innovation, foresight, design, strategy and healthcare expertise. As head of the Innovation and Transformation practice, she helps leading organizations navigate uncertainty and forge new paths to future success.


Denise previously established the human-centered design practice at MD Anderson Cancer Center and was the Executive Director of Innovation. She also led a team designing and delivering next-gen healthcare products, services and experiences as the VP of Consumerism at Memorial Hermann Health System, the largest health system in Houston, Texas.


Beyond her professional accomplishments, Denise is also an academically trained futurist with a master’s in foresight. She has worked on foresight efforts for many notable organizations, including Disney, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the United Nations Development Programme. Denise serves on the Foresight Advisory Board for the University of Houston and is an adjunct professor for the program. She also co-founded the Houston chapter of Speculative Futures, part of the global Design Futures Initiative.
